PROCESS OVERVIEW
In evaluating applicants, the management team of 3425 Helms Avenue takes reasonable steps to obtain objective, verifiable information aimed at determining an applicant’s credit-worthiness, ability to pay and prior rental history. To accomplish that end, each applicant (and/or intended occupant over 18) must complete a rental application in its entirety, as well as a “Consent to Background and Reference Check” form. While we will provide applications to all who request one, the application form may only be obtained and/or submitted in person. At the time the application is submitted for review, the applicant shall provide valid government-issued identification, which we photograph. In the event an incomplete application is submitted, or acceptable identification is not provided, the application will be deemed incomplete and will not be reviewed until such deficiencies are remedied. Finally, applicants seeking reasonable accommodations and/or modifications for verifiable disabilities should inform management of requested accommodations/modifications at the time of submitting the application in order to facilitate a faster analysis and application process. RENTAL CRITERIA The same criteria will be used in evaluating individual applicants, couples, families and/or proposed roommates.
